If Tennessee football gets caught cheating one more time...

SMU is going to get the death penalty again.

200 violations just doesn't mean that much anymore. If your stadium is big enough.

More like the NCAA finally realized that it's wrong to punish the people who did nothing wrong. Banning these kids and coaches for something they had NO part in would be a total injustice.

That school has a long massive history of violations.

Perhaps explains state government intervention to interfere...

Pearl plus two assistants got show cause penalties. Pruitt plus 6 others got show cause orders. That's 10 total coaches and staff members over the years with show cause orders for activities at UT. Can any school beat that? Doubtful.

thanks for posting this, I figured there was something here like this. People do not realize to the effect that state legislatures and the courts have limited the NCAA.

This is a big deal. Increasingly states, via NIL laws, are taking away the NCAA’s power to regulate college athletics. Effectively the NCAA is a dead & powerless organization.

Yep!!! Thanks for posting this. Been saying it from day one. I will continue to when someone complains that the NCAA is doing nothing.
