Time to compare our preseason SOS with what the teams were when we played them and how they're doing now.

Team          Record  2010         When Played      Current
NMSU                         2-10               0-0                        2-3
Gardner-Webb          4-7                 1-0                        1-4
Terd                             5-7                 1-1                        2-4
Rutgers                      4-8                 1-1                        4-1
Kent                             5-7                 1-3                       1-5
Buffalo                        2-10               1-4                        2-4
BSU                            4-8                  3-3                        3-3
Akron                          1-11                                              1-5
Temps                        8-4                                                4-2
CMU                            3-9                                                2-4
BGSUCKS                 2-10                                              3-3
Fiami                         10-4                                               1-4
Total                           50-95             8-12                      26-42

Going pretty much according to Hoyle, but some upcoming teams (BSU, CMU, BGSUCKS) are showing improvement over last year.

Updated through 10/8 games.

I think we can probably say that NMSU and Rutgers are better than last year as well.

Fiami and Can't are probably worse than last year, though.

Rutgers just put a serious shiner on Pitt.

I could feel good about that today, but I don't.

...and remember when we got some votes in the top 25 polls? Seems like ages ago.  If we go to BUFFALO and give up 38 points...how the hell should we ever expect to win a bowl game? That's why we haven't in years past.

This team and our bowl team will be 2 different teams.....personnel wise and attitude wise.

The Beefaloes QB was the Ohio POTY his senior season.

Their OLine is huge  and they will beat somebody else this year.
