and now with what looks like another punt by ball state that will put us deep in our field, this is most likely gonna be the "do or die" offensive series.....

and as i was typing this, punt to the 1 yrd line.

99 yards to save the season!!!!

Just when we show some life we f-ing fumble the game away and any hope of a east title or bowl. We can't even beat Buffalo or Ball State after a mediocre game vs Kent State.  This team is too mistake prone to play to its potential.

Disgusted...I don't see how Frank's seat is not hot.  To allow two terrible teams to beat you in a row because you are trying to put together a run game THAT WE DO NOT HAVE instead of running the score up...just unfathomable.

Tettleton was terrible today. He had two picks and took a sack when we couldn't afford to have one.

I was, for some reason, trying to figure out how OU beating Temple could still get this team into the MAC championship game ... if everyone else in the division had more than two losses...

... then I came to my senses. There's a better chance OU will go winless the rest of the way than undefeated. Whatever mojo the boys had early is gone. I wonder if they'll even beat horrid Akron.

Can't figure out what has gone wrong here. Is it all injuries? Coaching? Overconfidence? Or was this team just not that good?

Realistically, I doubt the team goes better than 3-2 the rest of the way, and a 7-5 MAC team doesn't go bowling. Ugh. Sure hope the 'Cats get mad quickly, then start getting even.

Its looking like my 1 - 5 prediction for the rest of the season is going to come true.  The way they've been playing I'm not so sure about the 1.

Not taking a knee in the first half cost this team the game. Tettleton, Solich and the offensive coordinator are each responsible for that f-up.

I'm pretty sure if we'd taken a knee, everybody would be up in arms about that, too.

Hey! Doesn't Ball State have a winning record?

Ohio can still make the MAC Champ game. As long as they win out, they head to detroit.

They would also probably need Buffalo to lose another game. It's not an insurmountable task as this season was always going to come down to the Temple game. But now even if they do beat Temple, they have to avoid stumbling against an improved BG team on the road and then Miami at home. And even that assumes they'll take care of Akron and CMU.

Assuming they beat Akron and CMU? Come on, people. By all accounts, we played poorly and lost two games (one to a team that is better than they're being given credit for) by a combined 4 points. Let's back off the panic button just a bit.

I'm not hitting the panic button, I'm assuming wins over CMU and Akron. I'm just saying that the Ball St. loss might cost them the wiggle room they needed. Last year, they beat Temple but the stumble against Kent St. cost them the MAC East. I'm worried about a similar scenario this year.
