Looks like Temple may not get their chance to ascend out of the MAC.  Boise State, Navy and Air Force were invited as football-only members and UCF for all sports.  

There is a rumor that Villanova stands in the way of Temple being invited back in and that the last two spots would go to SMU and Houston.

No, that can't be!  MH55 told us the invite was IMMINENT!  Perhaps he needs a dictionary.

Since solidifying their position as a BCS conference is the number one goal of the Big East, perhaps adding Temple football is losing its appeal.
