And a big shout out to those who did "Munch, Munch" at Infocision after the ref blew the interference call on Shaw in the 4th Q.  It came across great on STO and gave me a real chuckle.

Our offense is not doing well now.  A lot of yards but no sustained drives for scores.

What game were you watching yesterday, Monroe?

1st Q:11 plays, 72 yds, FG
3rd Q 15 plays, 91 yds, FG
3rd/4th Q: 13 plays, 75 yds, TD

The one in which we only led by 7 until two seconds to go in the first half and in which the drives which you name netted only about 64% of the available points (13 of 21)--against possibly the worst team in Div I.

I hope that I'm wrong and that we're back on track and do have it going, especially the power offense at the goal line.

Yes, but there's a second half and we utterly owned them during it. Sometimes teams stick around longer than you anticipate.

Sir, thus far this is the best team in the MAC at third down conversions and is tied for second in 1st downs avg/gm. Seems something is going and on track.  37 points, over 500 yards, give the team/coaches a break.

This game's a lock guys.  I'm wearing my lucky Bobcat underwear.  This has been your ever popular what are we wearing segment brought you by Bobcat Undies.

That's way too much info OCF.....it did squeeze its way however into a Good-Bad-Ugly piece that I'm working on for Saturday's game.....the words squeeze and underwear in the same segment seems a tad uncomfortable.

Saturday's game?  I didn't think we had any more Saturday games on the schedule.

Ooops.....I meant to say yesterday.

You did say "scores," not "touchdowns."  The 91-yard drive started at the OU 3, so by most any standards keeping our D off the field, using up more than five minutes of clock and getting three points in the bargain is "doing well."

Even the worst teams in Div. 1 don't give up TDs on every possession.

I hope that you all are correct.  After dropping 3 of 4, I don't think that we have much to crow about given that we didn't get untracked until the 2nd half vs. a poor 'kron team.  No matter how you spin it, 'kron is not good (overall record and overall stats).

Many here sure thought that we were pretty awful good after the shellacking that we gave stupd cow.  After then going on to lose 3 of the next four, I'll concede that we're a right good team only based on our results after this season is 100% over.  No rings for 5-3.

Sir, I measure this team by many factors and W/Ls is not #1 on the list.  Currently I believe Ohio has the top staff in the MAC and the Bobcat program is making gains each year.  I understand that others are working hard too.  My pride in the Bobcats is not win dependant as yours seems to be.  I believe hard work + dedication = excellence.  Sometimes things take longer, but, Ohio has an excellent program, getting better annually.  Sorry if the pace is not fast enough for you.

Bcat2--I agree with your criteria in terms of things like seeing improvement, wanting our young men to graduate, represent the University well, become better persons, etc.  However, one of your posts stated or quoted statistics and the sad fact is that when the clock hits 0:00 there is only one stat that matters.

Sir, since coach Solich's arrival there has been less "sadness" about the clock hitting 0:00.  You have to be aware that the highes are now much higher and the lows higher also.
