No idea what that was, maybe Frank arguing the call?

If Akron's OL is still pulling jerseys on every play, they better call something.

No more black jersey games for this bunch. They are playing some stupid football. They don't come to play. Temple game won't mean anything. No Way should they be allowed to wear those black jerseys for the lack of effort the past several games. This team isn't focused on game day period. Those jerseys should be only for big games. We lose to Akron that Temple game won't be worthy of a big game anymore. We might be one of the three worst teams in the MAC. EMU has 3 MAC  wins and we seemed to be heading to a horrible MAC record and a losing season. Unacceptable with the talent on this team. Look at the experience on the o-line, the talent at receiver and the special teams we have. Something is seriously wrong in that locker room.  This team is sleepwalking thru the MAC schedule. Guess what Bobcats ......no bowl game !!!!!.  You just saved the university and fans a lot of money.

So the zips snap the ball over the head...huge loss and the drive is clearly over...

Who is #13 on D???  He should be benched for a while. After the play is over, he walks up behind the QB and slaps it away.  Could easily have been flagged for an unsportsmanlike call. What a STUPID thing to do. What's with the attitude?

Agree completely. Saw the same thing, and could have negated 15 yards of that loss. Stupid move.

Which team is 1-5?

Fast started need.  None.
Stopping a really lousy offensive unit from converting on third down.  No.
Special teams quality play.  No.
Avoid penalties.  No.
Dominating, flowing, constantly moving the ball offense.  No.
Stop turning it over.  No.
Pass rush.  Not really; no big sacks against a 'kron which leads the nation in allowing sack.
Two running back sets so we have power and keep the oppo off stride.  No.
Chances against temples.  Sigh.
Right to wear black jersey, gained only after signature win.  None in sight.

Only good so far:  Very fast pace on first drive or two.  Pump fake on long td to Brazil.  Do we use pump fake much?  It's got to be part of a qb's basic make up.

I know that d-line is thin and that really exposes us.  But are we really this bad?

Not sure if you caught any of the WVU/Syracuse game last night, but WVU ran some interesting fullhouse and power I backfield formations out of the pistol pretty effectively. Definitely a wrinkle in the offense I think we could incorporate.

I'm feeling good that we'll salt this one away shortly, too. I'm just so frustrated by the missed opps. We can't have that against Temple or BG and have a chance.

Tettleton to Dunlop, TD!!!! Love the call to go for the endzone on the first play, although I think it's an obvious call. GO CATS!

Please obtain M.O.  The point is that this game should have been O V E R after one quarter.  Instead it was 7 points until 2 seconds left first half.

From the replay looked the kind of fall where you just lose your wind, then maybe your lunch. Should be ok after a few minutes.

I was really worried after the early INT, but he's been very sharp since and made good decisions.

Zippy got screwed on that catch out of bounds by Donte Foster. good job by the hurry up to snap before zippy could decide to challenge.
