Ugh. great drive stalls again. lame. Glad to see Tettleton not play tentative after the INT however. couple of nice plays.

I like to see Tettleton running early, I think that's been missing early in the last couple of games. Really helps set up Harden.

I like our pace. Where has that been? maybe it just seems faster because we're grabbing yards in chunks.

The offense continues to struggle. Why would they not run the ball on that 3rd down play and potentially setup a FG attempt or an easy shot on 4th? With the blitz coming, an audible into a run play would have been perfect.

That play was a first down and then some, but Boykin just dropped it.

Why do we take harden out when he is tearing it up and run three straight plays to boykin. Two runs and a pass that hit him right in the numbers. I dont understand taking out players that are in the zone. Its not like he needed rest he only ran 16 yards.

wow - Carpenter the victim of a blatant facemask on that near INT. surprise that MAC refs completely missed it.
edit: maybe it was just a hold

One of the most blatant and obvious face mask calls has to be called.
Even without it, no excuse to allow Akron to be 3 of 4 on 3rd down conversions.

Can someone please explain - someone with football knowledge - why we blitz so much on 3rd and long? we constantly expose ourselves and end up getting burned on screen passes for big gains.

Hope they review that catch during this timeout. I don't think he ever had possession.

We give up a FG after punting to them at the 2. Another great defensive effort by our players and coaches!
