Quick thoughts...more to follow:

If the offense maintains and the D adds some star power at linebacker and line next year, it's gonna be good.

I had this fantasy that there was actually a thread last week about 'bench Harden.'   Must have been a dream.

Remember when it was speculated that Tettleton, being not real tall, would have a lot of passes batted down.  I think he's 20 TD's, 5 interceptions and probably on track to own many, many OHIO qb records by the end of next year.  Then, he has a senior season to add.

Until we won it, there was only one big play that was gonna be of consequence:  temples' fake punt.

Multi-props to the students.  From TV viewing they seemed abundant, loud and into it the whole game with a pretty full house even to the end of the game.  Does tonight change it?  Will OHIO FOOTBALL now be seen as THETHINGTO DO?!

LaVon's catch.  LIve, in real time, it was a fine catch.  On replay it was pretty fine.  On that one replay that showed how he got his hands on it, it popped away, and then he pulled it in--that was a pretty awful good grab.

The team has skills but I feel more so than in the past couple of years that we're beatable on any given night. The combined records of our 3 remaining opponents are 10-16 but any of those schools are capable of beating us. You almost have to throw the records out the window this year. Buffalo got us and they're 2-7. Miami only has 2 MAC losses yet. They could be with 3 losses entering the final game against us and win a tie breaker in the standings. Ohio is not just playing for the MAC. Its also playing for a bowl and it that regard 1 more win should get it done.

Great win, and a solid performance. Except for some special teams breakdowns, that was about as much as we could ask of the team.

Now, let's beat CMU.

Agree that we cannot take any opponent lightly.  Not any.

But let's savor tonight for 24 hours.

A thought:  It was a close game.  Did the home crowd home field advantage finally bring one in for us?!

I don't think that anyone has mentioned the O-line's performance tonight.  Very good.  There were some seriOUs holes for the running game and the pass protection gave Tettleton room to operate.

Until our D-line starts dominating, we need this kind of work from the Big Guys on offense.
