Both the O and D lines controlled the line of scrimmage all night last night.  The O line made some really nice holes for the backs and protected Tettleton well.  And even though they gave up 31 points, the D line (with LB help) did a solid job of keeping Temps' backs from getting big plays and putting pressure on the QB.  Kudos guys.

kept the penalties down significantly.  I don't recall any holding calls...4 penalties in total - I don't think any were on the line.

That can't be right - some guy in a boa said both their lines were better.

I was surprised - pleasantly so - by the stellar work of Ohio's lines, especially given the pre-game hype about the size of Temple's O'line and the stoutness of its D-line.

Now, may Ohio's lines perform as well and as consistently in the remaining games.

I was also pleased - not necessarily surprised - by the 4th quarter fitness demonstrated by Ohio.  Make that pleased by both its physical and mental fitness.  A tribute to the coaching staff.

I only saw one real breakdown of the OL all night.  It resulted in a sack of TT.  He didn't really see it coming, but fortunately he held on to the ball.  They seemed to learn from that mistake and I didn't see another collapse of that sort again.
