The MAC named Toledo LB Don Molls as its West Division Defensive Player of the Week:

I realize it's an individual award and shouldn't reflect how lousy his team (and NIU) were defensively last week, but I had to chuckle at the description: 17 tackles in a 63-60 loss.  Maybe he had all of Toledo's tackles.

On a better note, it was great that Donte got the MAC East Offensive Player award.  He had an awesome game but I thought they might give it to Coyer because he's a QB and a newbie.
