http://www.mac-sports.com/portals/20/MAC/Stats/2011FB/confonly.htm

MAC stats say CMU is a weaker team on defense.  Still, they will be at home.  vs Kent CMU won TOP, 1st Downs, 1 penalty for 5 yards, over 300 passing and yet lost to the MAC's worst team offensively.  CMU will not lay down, I expect it will take 35 to win.  Anyone else care to say how they feel?

We hold CMU under 20. Our secondary will keep them out of the endzone.

I'm expecting this to be a very tough game.  Ohio is going to be hung over after the huge hard-fought win.

The offense needs 40 points and needs a new playmaker to assert themselves.  Harden, good as he is will be a step slow after the pounding performance he put on last week.  Who's going to step up?

I was just looking at CMU's game-by-game results.  They have been routed twice - by Michigan State and Western Michigan.  In all other games they have been competitive.  We should expect them to be that way against Ohio.

They put up 48 in their win at home over NIU, which, as we saw Tuesday, has no D.  The most they've scored otherwise is 28, so that might be enough.  I'd like to see the Cats hit 40+ this week, but that might be a little much to ask.

Apologies for slightly hijacking this thread...but what is the health status of Neal Huynh?  We are certainly more formidable when he plays.  (Less pressure on the O to perform...and, probably, more opps for the O to perform.)

NP. If Neal is available I drop the points needed to win to 28.  I do hope Neal is all better before he tries to play DL again.

The Bobcats have a history of struggling in Mt. Pleasant.  I don't quite understand why but that's the way it has been.  They'll need to put at least 39 points on the board to be assured of victory.

He was listed as playing in the Temple game....doubt if that is accurate.....let's hope he's ready.

If we play @ CMU like we did this past Wednesday we win, and I might add easily.
