This is the one game all year that I thought could be a trap game -- coming right after the Temps game and before two games against division rivals.  I'm glad the team will have an extra day to prep.

While I totally see what your talking about..I don't think it wil l happen..every team will have a mental and physical letdown as they go through a season and it often comes in the form of a trap game........

But I think...I hope we have already had our breakdown, hell we had 2 back to back with Bufs and Ball State.

If we have another let down and lose to another lesser opponent...we have problems.

There is no such thing as a trap game.

I saw much of CMU-kents tonight.  We can run on CMU.  A non-W against CMU would totally take the luster off the fine national TV victory over temples.

Frank's records against the teams left on the schedule?
CMU - 0-4
BUGS - 3-3
Miami - 5-1

Bobcats record all time against them:
CMU - 4-19-2
BUGS - 24-36-2
Miami - 34-51-2

Central has owned this series so far, and has the best all-time winning percentage against Ohio of any MAC team. Time to get one back.

Central looks clearly overmatched. CMU is scoring 22.6 ppg (94th), Ohio is allowing 21.6 ppg (29th). CMU is allowing 31.3 ppg (91st), Ohio is scoring 32.2 ppg (38th). Based on averages this looks like a 10-15 point victory for Ohio. Ohio isn't the most spectacular MAC team in one area but has the most balanced MAC team offensively. Ranked 33rd in the country in passing yards, 32nd in rushing yards. These November games is when Ohio's depth begins to shine as the competitive fire burns out at the lower tier schools. Except for Kent State they never quit for some reason.
