I had my dart league last night, so I go to watch the game in the bar, but no sound so I haven't exactly heard why certain players were playing.  I gather from another thread that Foster was out due to a concussion, I'm guessing that Harden got hurt because I don't remember seeing him at all in the 2nd half?  Also was there anything wrong with Boykin, I like him a bit better than Beau but it seemed like Beau in alot in the 4th Quarter?

Harden was sick.

Boykin got handoffs on the last series so I think he's fine. However, he's been a little beat-up recently, so that could be part of the reason for him getting fewer carries.

Our backs are solid, as Beau and Boykin showed last night.  But Harden is our #1.  I wonder if Beau or Boykin or any of the redshirts or recruits will develop that compelling burst that Harden gives us.  My guess is 'you're gonna like the way you look.'

And, hey, Beau.  How about wearing a short sleeve.  Something to cover your arm down to the elbow.

There was one shot late in the second half in which the 'Cats had the ball near the goal line and it looked like Beau had run his upper arm thru a thorny rose bush.  Lots of scratches.

This year Ohio only returned 35% of its rushing yards from 2010. Next year we return close to 75%. Brown and Boykin will give us the bigger power back look and then Beau, Hammonds and Fulcher are going to step up as smaller backs. Next year might be a breakthrough at the RB position. This year its Harden-SR and Boykin-So/Beau-So doing all the damage. Senior RBs like Favors and Inks have been career scout team material and are graduating on. The overall talent level at the position next season is going to be up despite the #1 guy graduating. Its nice to see a good rising group of QB's and RB's in the program for once.
