13 flags in the first half? Some deserved, some not, but WTH? Are the refs on a "per flagiem"?!?

EDIT: (before the resident copy-editor/court-records-watcher jumps on me, let me make clear that I intentionally used a fake word there. I combined "per diem" with "flag" to imply that the refs are being paid for each flag that they throw, just so there's no confusion)

Perfect time for the fake, I called it, too bad Boykin didn't know he was supposed to slip out in the flats and could have mosied in for the score.

Boykin fumbles on a power sweep that appears like he could have gone yard.

Why deep in their own territory when CMU calls time he didn't run play action to Brazile burning his guy again I'll never know.

I loved the play calling in the first quarter especially at about the 38 and third and long and he runs the option. That was two down area so a run is the perfect call.

Trivia question--how many quarters has it been since Ohio has forced a TO?

Lets see, 300 yards in the first half, 2 red zone no scores.  We do great between the 15's.  I don't know if it's coaching or not, but we just can't seem to score as much as our yards indicate we should.  I don't get it.

Lets see if Frank and the boys can coach 'em up in the second half.  I would think we could wear them down with the running game if we could just get some defense.

170 yards the first 8 minutes, 130 yards the next 22 minutes.  That may be why it seems like the game has slowed down for us.   Better change something at half time.
