Doesn't matter.  The play stops when the whistle blows.  Nothing after that counts.  But, it was an early whistle and we got screwed

WOW. Solich should have the team walk off the field right now. The replay clearly shows the ball hit the ground.

NCAA and the MAC need to investigate this crew for fixing the game.
