Will the total score be higher than home side attendance ? I'm thinking Cats35- Chips 21   with attendance on home side around 50

Depends on what side of the field the CMU band sits.

And just to note, I was pretty impressed by their band at the MACC in 2009, not on the field but with drawing in fan participation during the game.

You may be off a 0 on each number.

38-10 Bobcats
1,500 there / 5,000 announced

Could have gotten a bigger crowd here in Richmond at the Richmond CMU campus.

If you dropped the 7 off that number, I'd STILL say it was to high based on what I saw on TV last night.

I assume the TV primarily showed the Ohio side of the stands.  There was truly nobody over there, but a couple thousand on the CMU side below the press box.

18,600 was the closest guess and that makes you the winner!
