I found this line interesting:

"While Alliance 412 was not willing to disclose the financial terms, the deal, on average, would provide each scholarship football player with five figures of income."

could be as little as $10k (still a lot for a full scholarship student) or as much as a solid solo income in the city of Pittsburgh, enough to basically live on their own if they wanted to.

It's nuts to see how much has changed in 10 years.

This feels like the first step towards unionizing.
