My phone began blowing up immediately after the game with congratulatory text messages and it continued today at work. A lot of folks said they watched the game or saw highlights. The university is getting great exposure in a positive light over the last few weeks with our success in mid-week games. The brand is definitely benefitting.

I am concerned about the impact on academics. I heard Coach Solich say the bus would pull into Athens after 4 a.m. and that some players had finals today. Thanks for working hard in the classroom, too, men.

I showed my Bobcat Pride today by wearing a twill shirt with the Attack Cat logo I got at Baron Men's Store 8 or 10 years ago.  Several people saw it and either commented on what a great win or asked how it came out because they didn't catch the end.  Even though attendance might be down some at the games, the exposure is gold for the program and the university.  Plus, tonight, tomorrow and Saturday, ESPN's bottom line will show the score and maybe the fact that the Cats are division champs two or three times an hour.  Can't beat that.

I've had the same experience.

I had 5 people at work ask me about the outcome as they went to bed before it was over.  I even had a 10 minute conversation about the X's and O's of the game with a guy...somebody who I assumed didn't like football.

I appreciate Znidar and the Dispatch's coverage of the game...but there is a glaring mistake in the article.  It says that Ohio has not been to the MAC championship game since 2006.  Should be 2009.

Earlier today, I spoke with The Sporting News' creative director, and he said he watched the OU-BGSU game last night and really enjoyed it. He knew I was an OU grad and big OU fan, but it was nice to know he took the time to watch our Bobcats play on ESPN.

I had to fly to Dallas this afternoon and wore an OU sweatshirt during the flight. When I boarded the flight, the gate agent said "You're welcome to board, Mr. Bobcat." I've worn OU t-shirts and sweatshirts in the past and have never had anyone comment about it.

People are watching, folks. This is a damn good thing.

I agree with everyone, the exposure is good. I don't post a lot on these boards, but I recently just moved to Tennessee and aside from the Vols, the bar I work at is interested in what the Bobcats are doing. I know it's mostly because I make sure our biggest High Def TVs have the Cats on them when they are on TV, but even when the game isn't aired nationaly I get quite a few questions about how they did this week.

Speaking of Tennessee... My son's football coach (he's a freshman in HS) walked up to my son yesterday morning and said "How 'bout them Bobcats?" At least four of his other friends throughout the school talked with my son about the game and the Bobcats.

This is in about the most rural area you'll find in Tennessee. The publicity for the team and the school is huge.

Thank you NBA.  If those greedy b*stards could determine how to split billions of dollars equitably, OUr games would be on the Deuce or the U.  However since they can't, we are center stage prime time.

I work in Hollywood, right across the street from the legendary Graumann's Chinese Theater.

Pulling out of the parking garage today, hey, that guy in front of me has an Ohio Attack Cat sticker on his rear window.  I pulled up next to him.  'Did you go to O.U.?'  He replied, "Yeah, '71 thru '77."  'Did you see that we're going to the MAC title game?'  He replied, "Yeah.  I'm going to the game."  'Are you serious?'   Him--'No, but I'm definitely gonna watch it.'

Bobcats all over the world.
