Bentley improved from our Temple Game.  If you remember, he questioned why Tyler was running around at the end instead of just taking a knee.

"Oh, it was fourth down?  Good play then!".

I'm not a RB fan, but I thought he did better than Arbuckle in the CMU game, and would prefer him and Rosco Blair call a game before that blowhard Spielman gets behind a microphone.

Honestly, I thought Dave Lamont was the real struggle here.  I thought he came across awkward most of the broadcast.  I'm not sure when it was recorded, but the tone was set from the beginning.  Those who had ESPN on early were treated to a wonderful moment.  No, not Gruden interviewing NFL guys in a trailer.  Right before the JG/Aaron Rodgers segment around 7:50, Lamont gave a voiceover promo.  Something about Ohio and Tettleton stretching out the defense but "you just dont come in to 'the Doty' expecting a win".

Hey, maybe that's where all your falcons were...

Bentley sounds like Jesse ventura to me. I thought he did better in the Temple game because his partner in that one was better and set him up more clearly.

Queston about BGSU- The ads said Ohiio v Bowling Green. Shouldn't they be Bowling Green State? It kinda like calling Ohio State... oh nevermind.

There was a BUGS president a number of years ago (1980s, I think) who had the "State" removed from the schools name on all the university letterheads, logos, etc., and had the media instructed to just call them "Bowling Green."  His rationale was that they got so little support from the state and tuition carried so much of the budget load that he thought having the word "state" in their name was "false advertising."  I don't think this policy or this president lasted too long.  What a way to win friends and influence people in the General Assembly.

It's a matter of reasonable confusion.  Nobody is going to confuse them with Bowling Green Tech, so I think they're fine and dandy using either or both.

I think the video was actually pretty good.  Good for BGSU and good for their alumni and students.  Also, its publicity for the MAC, any chance that people will talk about, or watch the MAC is good for the conference and good for Ohio.

However, after watching the interview on my DVR, that was awful.  But again, the kid is 19.  I probably would have been a bumbling idiot on ESPN too at 19.
