My first post, and a very worthy one. Scroll dow to the Little Ceasar's Bowl. Enjoy

I really just can't see them dropping down to the #8 selection from the B1G. They have too large of a fanbase that is too enticing for the bowls with higher selections.  The absolute lowest I can see them going is #6 after Michigan State, Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Penn State.  Iowa would probably go next, leaving Northwestern, Illinois and Purdue (assuming they beat an awful Indiana team this week) as possible selections for the Pizza Bowl.  My guess is the Wildcats get taken next. I think Dan Persa makes them the most desirable of those remaining teams.

You know what this board needs? Another post where somebody speculates about OU playing OSU in a bowl game.

I doubt we will end up playing Oklahoma State University in a BCS bowl such as the Fiesta Bowl!

AP is reporting that Ohio State will accept a bowl bid if offered, unlike Miami(Fla) which to hopefully soften their NCAA beatdown, they are removing themselves from any bowl consideration this year.

I suppose Gorden Geek and Gene Smith are holding out hope that IF the Buckeyes beat Michigan Saturday, OSU will be given consideration for the National Championship game. I truly think those 2 are that delusional and egotistical.

They'll accept it so they can count it as one of the (hopefully) multiple bowl ban years coming down from the NCAA...

It'll probably turn out to be just one (and come in the least damaging year for them) but a guy can dream...

I thought OHIO STATE were THE national champions every year...no matter what their record?!?!?!?!?

They dont even have to go to a bowl game..., from what I have heard, thats just the way God intended it.....

The ghost of Woody Hayes would haunt them forever if they made the Bucks make TWO trips to that state up north in the same year.  Of course, true Toxic Nut fans would spend the night in Toledo or Windsor.

Speaking of Woody, before the Penn State loss, some of the projections had O$U going to the Gator Bowl for the first time since the Clemson game.
