There are already 6 -- the Cats, NIU, Temps, UT, BSU and WMU. Kent and EMU also can get there. Kent plays @ Temps (I'm sure Kent will be jacked, but not sure about Temps) and EMU is @ NIU (ya think English et al are constantly reminding their guys about last year's 71-3 drubbing?). It may sound crazy, but it's been a crazy year.
Also, the MAC could have seven teams with 7+ wins (WMU should beat Akron; BSU has UT at home; and EMU, even though 2 were against 1AA schools). That would be more than CUSA; maybe more than some of the AQs (ACC has only 5; Big Least and Big Twelv have only 4 each; PAC 12 has only 3). Not trying to compare the strength of the MAC with the AQs, but since most of them are usually guaranteed three or four OOC wins, it maybe shows that the MAC has better balance than some of the others. For example, Miss St. went 4-0 OOC; 1-6 in the SEC.
