I hope not.  The black uniforms should only be worn once a year or so.  I don't want to see black everytime there is a big game.  If they have to wear black to get a good game out of the Cats we're in trouble.  Go with the white on white.

If we are the home team, I don't think this is an option. Green/green like we did for Marshall in Detroit, or just the regular homes would be your options I think. How do they determine who is the home team for the MACC?

I'm hoping for green and white, too.  As the years have gone on, I've liked the green on green less and less for some reason.  Green and white all the way.

I love the green and white, and agree the pants have to be the opposite color of the jerseys. green on green looks like pea pods, white on white looks like a generic beer label.


but as much as I love the green and white I say we go for the black unis any chance we get these next 2 games. They're new, they're flashy and we look like a modern team on the rise. They're not fine china you save for thanksgiving dinner, use them! When they get stale we'll go back to the green and white.

I agree.  The black looks so good on TV that I'd like to see them at least once in the postseason.

I think it looks better when teams wear contrasting pants with a jersey. Green on white or white on green are my choices. When teams wear white on white or color on color, I keep thinking, "Why waste money on pants. Why not just get a full leotard uniform with places for the pads."

NIU wears black.  While ours would look better it would have more impact in the bowl depending on who we play.  

Edit: Black helmets with black pants and the white jersey may be interesting.  Would have to see them all together. The white helmets seems to be yellowing a tad in HD.

The only real combination I don't like is all white. Green pants are a must with the white jersey, in my opinion. The design isn't charismatic enough to pull off all white. Black helmets with all white would intrigue me, though. Like Oklahoma State, we need one of those flash doohickey's that let you combine the different jerseys to see how it looks.

I like all-white but think the white pants could use some stripes.  I like the no stripes on the green pants.

A double stripe that correlates with the jerseys and helmets might be interesting with some of the new designs that have a modified stripe based on the sections of the materials in the pants.  Kind of blending tradition with a bit of a modern look.Standford is wearing them right now but the stripes are hard to see because of the color combination.

if you go all white you need a non-white helmet for contrast.

What was ugly, their uniforms, their performance or both?  Their gold helmets and pants are pretty classic.

Virginia Tech went all white yesterday in their ass kicking of Virginia. Sophomore QB Logan Thomas is a beast at 6'6 256.  Other than offensive line, they return almost the entire team next year.  Only three seniors and three juniors on their 2-Deep defense.
