Got this from Yahoo's Mid-Major Monday column:

1. Houston (11-0)
2. Boise State (9-1)
3. TCU (9-2)
4. Tulsa (8-3)
5. BYU (8-3)
6. Southern Miss (9-2)
7. Arkansas State (9-2)
8.Northern Illinois (8-3)
10. Wyoming (7-3)
10. Ohio (8-3)

I wonder whether that's a typo with Wyoming ranked 10th too or if it was supposed to show us tied.  Since we won our game last night I would assume for the moment that would give us the tiebreaker.  Still its nice to see us getting some respect, though I think beating Northern Illinois in the MACC would be the real decider for how we end up being seen.  Find it funny though to see Arkansas State and Wyoming on this list, but what really matters is ending up on this list at the end of every year, instead of having "fluke" appearances.

Usually in a tie the higher number gets repeated and the next, lower number is skipped.

I think they might to rank Ohio #1.  There's your typo.

Wouldn't they usually be tied for 9th?  With NO number 10?

One would think, but then again, it is an "arbitrary" top 10. Perhaps we're just picking numbers out of a hat?

Either way, OHIO = #1
