I really don't know whether this constitutes a plea, a wish or a suppressed demand but I believe that it is finally time for Coach Solich and the staff to deliver that first post season win.
Don't get me wrong. I'm happy with the way Ohio's program has been turned around in his tenure and I'm very happy with the results thus far - but we need to get over this hump. If not now, when?
As fans and supporters of the program, it feels like we've given everything possible. We've signed up for the Bobcat Club and traveled to bowl games and championship games but the novelty of just being there, I'm afraid, is wearing off. I'm not sure another season of "almost" is good enough.
If we're going to continue to move this program forward - it's time.
The Administration has gone to bat for sports in general and football, in particular. Dr. McDavis is a vocal and unabashed supporter of the athletic department, ignoring many naysayers in the faculty and the community. His support has been tested and, for that also, it's time.
We've had big wins and big disappointments, too. Tomorrow's game is a huge test, no doubt, but sooner or later, we have to win these kinds of games to maintain the postive momentum. I think now is the time.
Whatever happens in Detroit, I'll be back here next week, proud and looking ahead, but I hope we will all be joined by even more Bobcats taken in by this team's success. Yet even my stubborn support doesn't diminish my belief that it's time.
GO CATS!

Pretty good post Bobcatbob.
IMHO the team needs to win one of its next two games to proclaim the season a rousing success.
Personally if forced to choose one or the other I'd take the conference championship.
