Just registered. Just noticed that STO has a MAC Championship preview on tonight at 8pm.

I saw the first 20 minutes of it on STO at 6:30 tonight.  Except for hyping the Temps game as being the turning point of the season but having no footage from the game (just footage from the Buffalo, Akron and Kent games), and talking about Gerald Moore when Kevin Moore's photo and stats were on the screen, and having no interviews with coaches or players, it was ok.  Kind of dry.

They finally did get a 10-second sound bite from Harnish (no one from OU) in the last five minutes, but I would've liked to have heard Solich and Doeren discuss their gameplans instead of getting it second-hand from the suits in the studio.  Would've liked to have seen the gleam in Keller's eyes when he talked about getting to Harnish instead of hearing Stams talk about it.  In case you missed it, it's on again at 5:30 AM and 6:30 pm Friday.

Agreed, it was dry, no... it was bad. I think Reghi mentioned his own name more than Tettleton and Harnish combined.

Stams was in a teleconference interview I was in this week for the OHSAA. I'll be diplomatic in saying that his questions were not exactly astute.

He asked the Kenton coach...whose team has the all-time leading passer in national high school football history what percentage of the time they threw the ball.

Coach said..."Uh...100 percent of the time."

I was excited to see this show on the lineup.  More good press for the Bobcats.  I like Reghi and think he does a fine job for the MAC.  However, this was painful to watch.  I felt like they did not want to be there and were totally unprepared to do the show.  It was like they promised to do a championship preview show at the beginning of the season and just threw something together to get it over with.  Lots of graphical errors.  I like both of those guys covering the MAC, but that is not a production I would want on my resume.  I have seen much better on ACTV.

Yeah, I 've been thinking that the MAC should start its own cable channel if STO tanks.  But if this is the best they can do, forget it.  They at least should've had somebody do a 10 or 15 minute phone interview with the coaches and had Reghi drop in the questions as if he had done the interview.  Instead, the only "interview" they had was the sound bite from Harnish, which probably was done at MAC media day back in July.  Disappointing.
