The short answer is, yes, it is basketball season. The long answer (for me at least) is this goes up there with the Indians blowing the 1997 World Series and Browns blowing a 3 touchdown lead in pittsburgh in the 02 playoffs as a crushing loss. The only team I follow that has ever won shit is the Columbus Crew in 2008 and the Buckeyes in 2002 (Im from Columbus and didnt attend OU until 2007 so they were my team then). Even the Crew has tanked in the first round the last 3 seasons, and dont even start about the Blue Jackets. OU Basketball does seem very promising so far though
