You can add UCLA to the list of bowl-eligible teams. The Bruins were granted a waiver to play in a bowl game, even after they lose in the Pac-12 championship game (in whcih they are 32-point underdogs) and will finish 6-7.
By the way, this could hurt Western Michigan's bowl chances. The Broncos could be the next odd team out, depending on where the bowl openings end up.
Could be, but Western Kentucky may be farther down on the list than WMU. The Broncos have more of a bowl history, maybe more of a following and are a more exciting team to watch. I had the Hilltoppers scratched in for New Mexico, but I think WMU may be higher up on the pecking order and get that one.
