Bobcat fans:

Congrats on a well played game and well deserved win! As disappointed as I am that my team was on the short end of the scoreboard, I thought it was a fun and entertaining game to watch, especially the last minute.

Best of luck next year!

Oh, and the record stands at 1-1, how about a rematch next year? Perhaps a warmer weather bowl!

Class my friend. I never really pulled against USU but more for our program that has suffered for so long. May both our proud universities NEVER have to witness an SEC Crew ever again!

I think it would be solid to have USU in Athens! You would have a blast!

Thanks USUfan.  That's a very classy post. 

I wouldn't mind a rematch somewhere next year, if we don't make a BCS bowl game.  Hey, we are always optimistic before a season starts.  For your information, I was at that previous USU game played in Athens.  It was probably the most miserable game I've ever been to.  We lost 5-0 in a steady downpour, before artificial turf, and it was a real mud bowl.  I liked this one much better!

USU is another long suffering program, so I think there was a lot of respect and empathy towards the Ohio fans from many USU fans. We have been through a long dry spell as well, but this season for USU was really a dream and hopefully signing the coach to an extension and the announcement of a new athletic training center means USU has turned the corner.

USU has been to Athens once before (anyone remember the 'epic' 5-0 USU win in 1994?), so how about a trip to Logan?

I prefer the rematch in a warm weather bowl game next year. Hawaii anyone?

edit - Okay I see one person remembers the 5-0 game. I listened to it on the radio back in Logan during my college days.

It is refreshing to hear from a solid fan from the opposition. We have our share of clueless opposing fans. Temple is by far the worst. We OWN the OWLS and they somehow still live in denial. I guess they won their bowl game but I can tell you nobody on this site cares. All the best for next year to USU!

I was rooting for USU against Auburn earlier this year.  Too bad they didn't pull that one out.  I agree that # 43 is an animal.

USU Fan, thank you for your kind remarks and solid sportsmanship. You are a program on the rise and success will certainly not be in short supply for your future. Not only is your team on the rise, but your fans made a great showing in the stands by their large numbers, which says a lot. Another USU fan here. Congratulations on a great win. You guys have a hell of a team. They NEVER gave up. I'm happy for you for your first bowl win, even though the loss was tough for us to swallow. I know you'd really rather have a bowl closer to home, but I hope we get another shot at you in the FIPB next year. Preferably with a different result. Generosity and good sportsmanship have their limits!

Maybe not the prettiest game but one with a wild and exciting finish.  Gotta believe it will be a Top Five Bowl ending on some list.

I agree a warmer weather Bowl owuld be much more fun for both teams!
