Yes, I'm sure there were all things that were a little maddening, most notably the first series out of the 2nd half.  It looked kind of grim there for a lot of the 4th Quarter.

But two things on coaching.  Doesn't a team reflect the personality of its head coach? So the toughness of Lavon Bravill and Noah Keller and the rest of the team that just kept playing, fighting the demons of the NIU disappointment and the big monkey of the 0-fer in the Ohio post season history says a lot about those young men's character, but I think it also says something about the mentality they take on from their coaches.

Second, even if you want to give the players all the credit, shouldn't you at least recognize the coaching staff who saw something in Tettleton, Keller, Brazill and others?  Some of them weren't highly recruited.

It took a whole team to get the monkey off the back.  The first one is always the hardest. Bobcat fans, a win is a win when you are trying to overcome history.  Congrats on the first bowl win and 10-win season.

As for me, just one bit of coaching I'll do from my couch.  Tettleton, I love you, but when you are scrambling toward the sideline, just unload the ball.  You're hard to be mad at though, with your clutch playing.

Merry Christmas to all and to all, a good off-season!
