My wife's uncle was a member of the 1960 National Championship team for Ohio and we've been following Ohio football here in SC for sometime.  Congrats on the first bowl win for Ohio.  We were watching the game last night with her uncle and father(who also went to Ohio) and both were very proud of the Bobcats.

I've been wanting to go to a game up there sometime.  I hear Athens is a wonderful place to see a football game.  I've been all over the SEC and ACC, but would love to take my son to Ohio and see where his uncle played football.

Anyways, great win and I look forward to continue to follow your program.

My drive to Athens OH is about 8hrs from South Jersey, about the same as from Columbia, SC.
I usually drive up on Friday to catch a soccer or field hockey game then head  for home on Sunday morning.
I enjoy the drive because of the scenery from Frederick MD into W.VA and across the Ohio river through SE Ohio into Athens.
There are reasonably priced accomodations available, great eaterys, and Peden Stadium is one of the most fan-friendly venues I've seen.
If you come to a game, you will NOT be disappointed.

Athens is a great college town, come spend a weekend, visit the Hocking Hills and surrounding area, believe me, you won't regret the trip.

I-68 in MD?  Took that through to Hagerstown before I grabbed I-81 to head north when I was moving here to CT.  Beautiful country through there -- their generic rest areas provide nicer scenery than marked "scenic overlooks" I've seen in many areas.
