As a Husker alum, and Coach Solich Fan, I've been rooting for the cats since Ohio hired him.  Congratulations, and take better care of the man then we did.  He's a fantastic coach, and will continue to take your team places!  The MAC will be yours next year!

+1...we really are lucky to have a guy of his stature.  Nothing fancy just building a program the hard way with work and perseverance.  We got one monkey off our back this year.  here's to hoping we get the whole enchilada next year.

We don't play them every year but will beat as often as we can just for you guys :)  Hoping to see you guys in athens next year for a game when we play Ohio St. Hopfully a thur or fri game so I can see both.

A really big deal for Frank Solich.
1st bowl win in 11 years, best season (10-4) since 2001 (11-2) lost to MIA in BCS national championship game.
A special thanks to the committee that hired Frank.
It's been a long hard road for OHIO since 1965...
Oh, by the way I'm a Nebraska alum class of '63.
Frank is the best fullback in Cornhusker history and still holds the record for most yards rushing by a fullback(204yds).
The legends about his prowess from Holy Name HS (Cleveland) through his tenure at Nebraska were all based on fact...
