Sitting here listening to b'ball and watching the Terd in St. Pete, and finding myself pulling for them.  If they win, it'll make Ohio's record a little more impressive plus pull them to 3-2 against teams that eventually had winning records this season (wins vs. Temps, USU and Terd; losses to Rutgers, NIU).

Why does it look like there is standing water on the turf?

SEC officials do it again.  An "illegal forward pass" on a blocked punt return?  Maybe an illegal handoff?

I'm trying to decide of the defenses are that good or the offenses are that inept.  Or both.  And to think they both beat L'ville this season.

I wonder if they need new turf at that stadium.  It looks like the long astroturf that Illinois has, but it looks worn out in a lot of areas.

In the opening of tonight's game they had clips from various games during the year.  One of the last was Tyler's dive into the end zone in Boise.  Nothing in this game should bump any of the clips used in the opening.  Not even the fight that broke out at the end.  I would think that the punches Aiken threw at the end should force him to sit a game or two next year (he's only a soph).

Agree, Pataskala, Aiken should get at least a one-game suspension next season.  I thought Doc's explanation that the  "boys were just having fun, cause they all know each other" (paraphrase) was very weak.  Actually, it was "coach speak" at its worst.  Glad the Herd won, though.  Too bad one idiot had spoil the ending.

Three teams have won bowls this season OHIO, Temple and Marshall. OHIO won against Temple and Marshall so does this make the Bobcats thus far the Bowl series champion?

+1

Doc surely will change his tune after viewing the film of what happened.

And won't CUSA and the NCAA have something to say about it as well, in case Terd doesn't step and do the right thing?

As you know, Marshall is my second favorite college football team, but I would say that Doc deserves a one-game suspension for stupidity with that comment.  Yes, the conference or the NCAA could intervene, if necessary.

Hey, I've got the perfect solution: Let Aiken and Doc server their one game suspensions for the OHIO game.  Sounds completely logical and fair to me.
