My first instinct is that Terry Bowden is going to turn Akron around quickly.  All the ingredients are there in terms of coach name recognition and personality, facilities, corporate sponsors, and university support such as a willingness to load up on jucos and low-qualifiers.

The main question for me is will Bowden stick around if he suddenly wins 7-8-9 games in his first 2-3 years?  If not, can anything be sustained?
