My biggest winners are the fans and alums of BG and Toledo. That rivalry game just got even more epic! But, here is TMD's complete breakdown. My secondary winners have to be Ohio and Temple. You just replaced a tough game with Bowling Green with a nice win over UMass. That makes winning the division and earning a bowl bid a little easier.

Things just got a lot tougher in the West.

At face value, it seems like we at least won with the schedule we get this year. Of course it could play out totally different, but looks good.

Also it seems odd if BG is West for FB & East for hoops. But I guess it doesn't make too much a difference.

Makes for another reason to do away with divisions in b-ball.  Notice there are no "Legends" or "Leaders" in Bigtedozen b-ball.

Not sure that BGSUcks will be all that worse off in the West.  This past season, they were 0-3 vs. the West with the losses to the top three teams in the division: NIU, Toledo & WMU.  They will likely hold their own against the likes of EMU, CMU & BSU, and have a fairly good chance of drawing at least one lower-rung East team.  Besides, Akron is likely to improve during the Bowden era, and you never know how Buffalo will be.  At any rate, this situation may be short-lived; Temps may move along in the next two or three years -- maybe in a lateral move to CUSA -- and they might take UMass with them.
