Maybe I'm reading it wromg, but I see it as NIU - 26th;  Temple - 34th  and OHIO UNIVERSITY as tied for 35th with 1 point with Florida, Notre Dane and...

THAT IS  -  AHEAD OF O$U WHO RECEIVED NO POINTS!!!

GO BOBCATS.   (Penn State on Sept. 1st)

How in the world does Temple finish higher than us when we had a better record and we beat Temple head-to-head?  I suspect cyberhacking by MH55.

It's entirely possible that those who allege an East Coast media conspiracy are on to something.  How else to explain the outsized focus on Big East sports in the "national" media.

No, same deal as Michigan-Michigan State in AP Poll. It's called losinginconferencetitlegamesyndrome.

"losinginconferencetitlegamesyndrome" -- boy, my head hurts just reading the name of this new disease.   It's almost as much of a mouthful as Monoclonal Gammopathies of Uncertain Origin, or MGUS, for short.  I hope, like MGUS, losinginconferencetitlegamesyndrome can sometimes go into a complete remission.

FWIW I'm doing my dissertation research in a lab that studies the disease that SOMETIMES results from MGUS...and sometimes MGUS doesn't lead to this disease, and sometimes this disease never goes through the MGUS stage (or those patients are never observed to have MGUS...devilishly hard to prove a negative in this instance)
