Frank also said, at the LOI signing event this evening at Peden that there
might be one more signee to come. He gave no further details and the way he stressed the word might, I'd put this as at best a 50/50 proposition. I'm hoping for road grader RB!
Also, it was interesting that nearly every assistant coach stressed the fact that many of the players were good students with high-grade point averages and were of good character. I don't think we're taking barroom brawlers and weed smokers anymore. Words like, "smart," "good student," "excellent academics," "good leader," "high grade point average," and in one case "high school academic all-American" just seemed to roll off the lips of the coaches as they spoke. It made this old professor proud.
There were also at least three players who the coaches reported had had one or more BCS offers. One player, Sebastian Smith, the recruiting coach specifically said had had a B1G offer. However, it was probably just Northwestern, so it should have an * after it. ( L.C., sorry but I couldn't resist.)
