There's some balls on Albin and AD to make this happen, especially when your bonuses and contract continuations are based on total wins. Looks like a crazy start to the year.

I hate it, and I'll never step foot in that toilet bowl looking stadium in cowtown again. I've never...ever...been treated worse by a fan base. Eff those guys, and eff that name stealing institution.

This fits with a philosophy expressed several times by Coach Albin: "Respect every opponent, fear no one." At first I thought that just another trite coachism. I think now it may actually be an expression of his underlying approach as a coach. I think he wants those kinds of tests. He's a complex guy, and it's taken me a long time to try to figure him out. And, I'm not there yet!

Oh come on. They are such good sports. I was monitoring an OSU chat during the 2008 game, and I will never forget it. They were rooting for T3 to get hurt, and when he did get hurt, and Boo came it, they started complaining because OSU didn't manage to hurt him, too.

BTW, you will be treated well in Lincoln. NU fans may be rabid supporters, but they have class, and make vistors feel welcome.

OR the AD looks at Kent, Akron, BGSU and sees them facing death row, year in year out and bringing in more $$$ and doesn't care what the coach thinks.

As for @Kentucky-that will be a good road trip for Bobcat Fans. I listened to most of the Zips vs Wildcats and have to believe the Bobcats would have prevailed vs the Wildcats in 2023.

Go big or go home. Time to expand Peden Stadium to 35K-40K with completely new east side stands with second deck.

It will be a real challenge to stay healthy through that 2025 stretch against Rutgers, WVU and OSU, but depending on the game results, I imagine the players could really love this schedule.

Great to play OSU again though. It took them 13 years to get over the Rufus incident apparently. ;)

Also, excited to play Nebraska. I imagine this game would might not have been possible with a Solich-led OHIO team.

And the one match up I still want to see at some point is OHIO vs. Michigan. We still have yet to play the Wolverines in football. Might help their fans to tell the difference between the 2 Ohio schools too. ;)

Maybe this time the 110 will get to go to Rutgers.

And perhaps play at another Giants or Jets game at MetLife ?

Again I must ask why you'd be more concerned about our health here. Is there any evidence that g5/p5 games lead to more injuries? This conventional wisdom has never been backed by any actual information. I don't know why it keeps turning up.

What are the odds that WV and Cincy cancel on us?

More likely Cincinnati. WVU is set to play in Athens before we play two in Morgantown. Cincinnati still has to cut a four game non conference slate down to three per Big 12 scheduling rules. They could buy us out or kick the game down the road... again.

Is that supposed to be the second half of the home and home from like 2018?

I can imagine how the discussion for the game went. Before we sign this...are there any more Rourke brothers in Canada? Great!

Glad you called this out. It’s a complete myth. As but one example, I remember in one of the games we played against Pitt they had numerous players go down with injuries and we had virtually none. The worst single game for OHIO injuries was a game against Marshall in 1965 when we had something like seven season-ending injuries. I did not see that game as I was on active duty in the U.S. Navy at the time, but I read about it.
