Looks like Ohio now goes to UMass instead of Temple. Eastern Michigan added as a home game. So EMU substituted for Temple.

That is the equivalent of the OHIO v Michigan pairing two weeks ago.

I'll be hosting the tailgate.  Put in your requests for our guest bedrooms now.

We have the most TV games... Looks like ESPN realizes where the good football is being played in the MAC.

Me! (tentative -- put in a request for the days off work, but I have no clue how many are in front of me.  Obviously, Fall Saturdays are a bit tough...)

I don't want to be THAT GUY, but a week one effort that shocks the world (outside of Athens, Ohio), and this could be an undefeated season. Other than Penn State, we should be favored in every game.

29 *Ohio
Oct. 6 *at Western Michigan

^ UMass board has realistic expectations of them being able to win about three of those this year.

Fitting that UMass schedule has them facing the "Deans" of the MAC in their first two MAC games.

Perhaps UMass can steal a road victory before getting the official MAC welcome a week later at home!

Anything worse than an 11-1 record should be considered a disappointment. This schedule is a cake walk in the highest degree.

lordhavemercy thats a weak schedule. No NIU, no Toledo, no WMU, no Temple? Home games are New Mexico St, Norfolk St, Buffalo, Akron, EMU and BGSU? yikes.

I noticed Bowling Green vs Buffalo at Crew stadium on Nov. 23. What's that all about?

“With students away from campus for Thanksgiving Break, the Buffalo game became an opportunity for us to take BGSU on the road to one of our most populated alumni areas,” said Athletics Director Greg Christopher. “We view this as more than a football game and truly a university-wide effort and event. The Crew are excited about the partnership and we look forward to the unique event"

Good luck to BG. Hopefully a good turnout for this game will look good for the MAC as opposed to the normal crowds the day after Thanksgiving.

I considered them a rival on the level of Akron in hoops... Definitely feels weird.
