Not surprisingly, with all the well-deserved focus on basketball, there is a dearth of news related to football. For example, I never saw any press releases related to winter conditioning. Some years there has been news on who earned Iron Bobcat awards, etc.

Now it seems to be nearly time for Spring Practice, which typically starts in late March. Any word on when it will start, or on when the Spring game will be? Will there be a spring roster? Given the obvious focus on basketball, I certainly am not expecting anything like the Spring Prospectus we saw a few years ago, but an updated roster would be nice.

Oh, and Monroe wants to know who we are playing....

I talked to one of the coaches at the MAC Championship Game. He said practice hadn't started yet (probably won't until after Spring Break). He said they were spending time that following week with coaches from UC and Kansas State. The Spring Game will be April 21st. It's on the calendar on our home page.

For those of us with short memories, does anyone have a list of the newcomers who (early enrollment) will take part in the springer?

RB Dazmond Patterson is the only freshman who early enrolled. All of the JUCOs, DE Ty Branz, DE Wade Wells, MLB Tim Edmond and WR Matt Waters, are enrolled.
