After years of Tyler probably getting sick of being known as Mickey's son...It appears the tables have turned. I was watching "Baseball IQ"...a trivia game on the MLB Network. The list to name was top 20 most career home runs as a catcher. After they revealed the answers, the host (Matt Vasgersian) said "Tyler Tettleton's Dad Mickey made the list."

I thought that was pretty cool.

Seems to be a running joke around the team with the references to his dad.  Definitely getting out of the shadow now.

As a Bobcat and Oriole fan, that is one of my favorite bloodlines.

Same here as a Tigers fan. Mickey was among my three favorite Tigers growing up so it was not hard to like Tyler.

Thought Vasgersian might be an Ohio grad, but it turns out he went to USC.  Either he does his homework or has a Bobcat on his writing staff.

Or he just took notice of one of the best mid major Quarterbacks in the country.

mid major QB?  Perhaps one of the best FBS QBs in the country by this senior year?  I think you underestimate TT's talent level.  Last year was really his first full year of gridiron combat on the collegiate level.

I concur......his accuracy and passing ability is much better than projected......no QB runs any better except maybe RG3.....but what puts him in that next level for me is his football IQ.

Whatever you know what I meant.  I value TT as much as anybody.
