As of today, CBS has LaVon the 305th best among those in the draft and Noah 309th (this may change from day to day):

This one has Brazill at 307 and Keller at 311. For next year, they start with decent rankings for Weller, Thompson, Herman, and Allen. Mel Kiper predicted a 6-7th round for him, and Keller, Strum, Flading, and Harden as undrafted free agents. (Who the hell is Mel Kiper anyway?) Here's another site, has Lavon at 5.10, which is 7-PFA, and Keller at 4.45, which is FA., Flading at 4.95 which is PFA.

It looks like Brazill has a great shot at a pick in round 7, and Keller, Flading, Bates, Strum, Dunlop, and Harden have a shot at FA contracts. Good luck to all of them.

He's the one who said Oakland wasted their 5th-round pick on Mike Mitchell a couple years back.

I always look at the position rankings rather than the overall rankings. With Keller being the #15 inside linebacker, and having great instincts, is a big hitter, and clocking in at a 4.63 forty, and I think he has a great shot at making a squad as a free agent for special teams.

And I have said before, Dunlop is going to make some GM look like a genius. He catches everything within 5 yards of him.

Thanks.  Just going by memory.

I think we can all agree that Kiper is an overrated putz.  Probably has something on a higher-up at Disney so they'll keep hiring him.

Kiper is not a wizard. How can one guy know how every team evaluates talent? His job is to act as one scout, for ESPN. Overall, he doesn't do a terrible job. Easy to criticize the guy or anyone who makes a mock draft for that matter.

Why is Keller ranked so low? I thought he was a bit small, but the aforementioned article has him at 6-1, 242.He certainly has the resume.

That's true and that would all be fine if he would just admit the same and act like someone who couldn't possibly know it all but is just going by what he sees and has time to evaluate.  Instead, he acts like a smug know-it-all and that's why he's (rightfully) criticized. If he didn't act like a dick, people wouldn't think he's a dick.

That is probably true. He should be able to admit that he was wrong instead of ripping on teams. Sometimes, he does back track a little. But I don't think he ever fully admits that he could be wrong.

I just think it is silly to rip on mock drafts and rankings. Many people online get pretty graphic about their comments. No one knows all, was my point. But those same people are eager to read Kiper.

I just hope Keller and Brazill get selected or signed into situations where they can make the team or can be set up well on a practice squad. That first team can be so important.
