Bleacher Report's Alex Callos says Peden is the 8th worst practice facility in the country, although his only slam is that it holds just 24,000.  Not that we'd get any bigger crowds for practices if we had something like the Rose Bowl:

He also slammed BG and Buffalo for the same reason.  Moron.

Most of them are unpaid volunteers. Just try to think of all the dumb things that are written on message boards and apply that to anything you see on Bleacher Report.

Practice?  Practice?  You asking me about practice?  You know we're talkin' about practice?  Practice?

Once they start having more than 24,000 attending practice, I'm sure they will have no trouble raising the funds for a much nicer practice facility. I'm thinking they will be a shade under that tomorrow for the scrimmage, though, so I bet anyone that wants to go can still get in without a ticket.

I read it as practice facilities. Found it interesting Marshall came in as the 3rd worse. In all seriousness, at some point Peden is going to have to be expanded to at least 30,000. If it were me planning the eventual expansion, I would completely tear down the student side of the stadium and build something that would connect to those awful corners. It would be easier just to build new concession, rest rooms, visiting locker rooms than attempt to renovate that side of the stadium.

I really believe that Peden is a really pretty stadium in a beautiful setting.

I think going with more seats only makes sense when there is an enormous demand for it. A demand so strong that the games are sold out before the season even begins. I don't know if Ohio will ever get to that point and we may just have to be content with selling out our football stadium 3-4 times a year. What might make a lot of sense on the student side if they could knock out the back wall of the student section, open things up, and add a concession park behind the stadium with a larger student entrance and upgraded restrooms. Have a concession park where the Burrito Buggy could be stationed at the stadium on game days. Improved food would keep more students staying past half time.

We shouldn't even consider stadium expansion until there is so much demand for tickets that students have to pay to get in to the games. That would be a huge change in mentality for the university, but would mean that sellouts would be the norm. We've come along way since I was there so don't think Im complaining

Students already pay. It just shows up on their tuition bill instead of being collected at the door.
