Aside from it seems like a pretty weak sched, I dig that ESPN (thanks, Alex!) loves us for November weekday clashes.  It's great exposure for your program and every one of those mid-week TV games is like a holiday...living in L.A. and sneaking out of work a bit early to go home and watch me some Bobcat Football on national TV.  Mega-sweet.

I'm still waiting for apologies from those who used to post about how mid-week games for TV purposes is a bad idea.

Be sure to mail the hot chocolate and Carhart coverall donations early to all of us stalwarts who will be sitting in those otherwise empty stands for those games so you can enjoy your OU time, Monroe.

We thank you for your support.

I wonder, if we keep rolling, maybe those stands are not so empty.

They will be fairly empty for weeknight games no matter how good we are.

Not too many students get overly excited about having class, watching a football game in 40 deg weather on a Tuesday just to go home and do homework. Especially considering its on TV.  Its definitely good pub for the university though.

I will be thrilled if they draw this kind of crowd for Eastern Michigan.

As awesome as that night was, it was only that way because it was on the real ESPN. Not 2, not U, but the one that shows SportsCenter reruns all morning long. But yes, here's hoping we continue the rise in student attendance AND get back to sending a student bus to at least one game (PSU, Marshall or Miami)

Well, given the lack of strength on the sched this year, we may not have great weekday game home attendance...though should be decent and growing if we perform.

Part of that is a MAC problem.  Being inf conf, we gotta play the usual suspects (duh) and too many of them ain't gonna be very good competition.

Hopefully, we begin (I channel Love) some sched upgrading and we take off!

Perhaps the biggest spur to home game attendance will be being ranked.  Go 'Cats.  Bring it down, make it happen and reap!

I know more than a few of us made the drive down from columbus to sit in the rain and beat the games crap out of miami last year. Winning puts asses in seats better than good weather, beeter than good bathrooms, and sorry to poke the bear, but better thana kick ass band.
