Athletic Dept just recently put a Buy It Now auction of a Bobcat themed Mirror Lite Mirror. Since the background landscape is of the Convo I assume this is coming about due to alcohol being sold in the Rohr Room next year at baseketball games. Got some decent size at 48"x30" and of course it is notoriously hard to find any kind of bar like decorations for OHIO so this is a must have for those with the space and money.

Decision to sell beer in the Rohr Room and Tower Club has been reversed, according to the letter I got in the mail today.

Which I bet is why these are for sale in the first place. The department probably had them made in agreement with Miller Lite to hang in the locations where beer was to be sold. Now that it is not the department wants to get rid of them since they wont be used.

I don't remember this coming up in the initial discussion of alcohol sales but wouldn't signage in Peden and the Convo likely have been a part of any distributor deal? If the University gets X amount from Pepsi for concessions and advertising, it stands to reason that Miller (or whomever) would also ante up for the rights.

Not that it matters now, but that is how a lot of high schools and college programs get their scoreboards upgraded.

Having said that since alcohol sales were banned in the NCAA tournament venues and all the signage obscured, does the NCAA even allow alcohol advertising in it's member facilities?
