That was not cool, we only have a trio of receivers that seem to be able to play anyway, that would have meant we would be running the ball all year.

I am reminded of my visit out west a few years ago when I showed up at a BBQ wearing my OU cap.  A Sooner fan ( a stranger) walked straight up to me and said "Your hat's the wrong color".

So I says, "No sir, it's not.   It's looks that way because you are dyslexic".

Couldn't resist in making the point that there is good reason to refer to ourselves as OHIO.  Sorry (maybe) for shocking some.  I saw the same statement on CBS Sports channel's crawl this morning, and found it to be a nice reminder of why OHIO is a better handle than OU.

Is that what it is supposed to mean?  I always wondered why so many people wore maroon hats with white paper clips on them?  I figured they just really liked office supplies!

Why would OU in headlines scare you?  We are OHIO are we not?  Or at least many have voiced that it is not okay for me to say Ohio U anymore as I have for 50 years, so OU should be out too!

Saw a lady at the Columbus Airport with a crimson/gray sweatshirt that said "OHIO".

I was debating if I should say "Go Bobcats" or " I thought OHIO was green and white".

What might you have said?

I'd say "Go Bobcats!"  

I remember when my wife and I were in the Columbus airport waiting for our delayed flight to Mobile for the GMAC bowl the year the Bobcats played there and some O$U fans were nearby doing their OH - IO thing and another Bobcat fan near me kept adding to the end of their cheers with his foghorn the word "STATE."  Alternately he would say after an "OH -IO" -- "that's in Athens."  I was very proud of this man!

Coach has put an emphasis on guys who will stay at the OHIO and who are of good character.  That we don't hear of much bad behavior from OUr guys is pretty good evidence that we are in a good direction.  Oh--and the way we are performing is good, too.

This is my current favorite:

"Ohio."  Yeh, they've got a pretty good school down there in Athens but I thought their colors were green and white."
