Does anyone know if this is in the works or not?  Seems like it would be a huge opportunity missed if the University didn't put something together for alumni to travel... It might be too early for this, but I can't find anything.

It would be a great way to mend things with OBC members after reversing the decision to sell beer in the Tower Club and Rohr Room.

Unless they already booked a block of hotel rooms and are just putting the rest of the package together, I doubt this will happen. I booked my hotel last week and almost everything is already gone. I ended up getting the Days Inn since it was the closest to campus and Beaver Stadium that still had rooms. It was over $200 for one night in a f#%$!&# Days Inn!

Yikes... maybe I should get on that then, ha!  It seems like a HUGE missed opportunity.

Yeah I would just go ahead and book something for yourself while you still can. It seems like the university leaves it up to individual alumni chapters to set up their own packages to games. Oubobcat9092 does a great job promoting the DC chapter's events and trips on here. As you can see from his thread (http://bobcatattack.com/messageboard/topic.asp?FromPage=1...) there will be a Bobcat Bash before the game with the DC and Philly chapters.

Maybe contact the Cleveland chapter and see if they are putting anything together.

My parents and brother are Penn State alums and if you don't have a hotel booked by now you'll be very lucky if you can get anything within a hour of State College on a game day weekend.

Days Inn still has "Limited Availability" for the weekend, but like I said it's gonna cost you $235 for one night or $470 for the weekend. http://www.daysinn.com/hotels/pennsylvania/state-college/days-inn-state-college/hotel-overview

I spoke with someone at the ticket office yesterday that said they are only selling tickets in the OU visiting section to season ticket holders and Bobcat Club members only.

That is right...your limit is 4 as a season ticket holder or Bobcat Club member. I think if you're over $600 with the OBC, you might be able to purchase more.
