OK, so last year my beloved Chicago Bears were humming along with a pretty decent record at 7-3 and then, BANG! Jay Cutler breaks his hand and he's lost for the year.  The team finishes up losing 5 out of the last 6 and the town goes in a complete coma.

Is there anybody that disputes the one guy we simply cant afford to lose on this Bobcat squad is Tyler Tettleton?

I have confidence in Vick if TT goes down, and I think Windham will be good, too. Would it be better if Snyder were still on the roster? Yes, but you can't blame him for wanting to play, and he wasn't likely to take the top spot from TT. A point I made on another thread is that the 2012 Bobcats also have a very good defense, and a very good offensive line. Take away TT and things become more challenging, but they are still a good team.

Going into the season, the Cats may be the best in the MAC, and far outshines anyone in the East.  We have a lot of talent at nearly every position, but at this point T2 is the straw that stirs the drink.  About the only chance that any MAC East team has is for him to be out of the picture.  Have any MAC East coaches been talking to the Saints lately?

Brian, there is no question that a "difference maker" QB is also a "difference maker" if he is lost. And if there is anybody who knows you are always potentially one play away from a seat in the stands, it is Tyler Tettleton.

With that said, we will have a couple of "alternatives" -- as others have mentioned here. I expect we will see some of Mr. Vick even if Tyler is (as we all hope) able for the entire season.

Yes, hopefully Tyler won't have to play 99.97% of the snaps this season. I think we would have seen more of the backups last season had we ever been able to open and maintain a lead in any of those games coming down the stretch (really after Marshall, the only team we really dominated score wise was Akron, though we controlled a number of other games, just not on the scoring margin)
