So my older brother lives in Arizona, some of you have met him at the Bobcat Attack events he has attended in the past. Well he is very anti-tOSU, especially since our little brother who went to tOSU is an ardent loyalist and quite arrogant about it (he married a former Buckeye football player's daughter too). So he has been recently active in the Ohio Arizona Bobcats group on Facebook. Well this past week or so there has been some Buckeye stuff being posted on the group's page. He and I think a few others weren't so high on Buckeye stuff being posted on an OHIO Bobcats facebook group. Well he is the direct quote from Facebook of how the leader of that group is treating the situation:
Tom Healy: For the past six years we have attempted to host a wide range of events, in various locations and at different times of the year. Without a doubt, the best turnouts we get are for sporting events (only big games) and by partnering with the Young Buckeyes, which bring out a ton of great folks from all over Ohio and with ties to many different schools. We will continue to utilize these two strategies, build up interest among Bobcats in Arizona and hopefully integrate successful OU-only events into this strategy in the near future. We WILL NOT tolerate negativity, immaturity and pessimistic behavior on this page - you will be immediately removed. I hope to get to know many of you better and meet others of you in the near future - next up is the Reds/DBacks game, televised OU football games and Ohio State football games.... lots of great opportunities to have an enjoyable time with Bobcats and other folks from OH!
Are you kidding me! I mean it isn't like they are in a state where there isn't an already big OSU presence. I mean Arizona is teaming with tOSU transplants, they aren't going to be on an OHIO Facebook Group when they could be on a tOSU page for Arizona. It is almost like some cheap way to get OHIO alums that are more OSU fans than OHIO to be involved.
*Update: My brother was planning to email the Chapter President and then realized this guy was the Chapter President for Arizona. Which makes it even crazier since my brother thinks their bylaws don't allow them to really kick anyone out except for serious cause, which talking smack isn't serious cause.*
