Looking at a Dispatch article today, it dawned on me that two of the three real contenders in one of their divisions aren't eligible for the championship this season.  That means they should crown Wisconsin a division champ right now (all those who think Illinois, Indiana or Purdue has a reasonable chance to beat the Badgers please take your medication).  Seems to me that to make it interesting, Nebraska should replace either PSU or O$U in Wisconsin's division for this season.  Or maybe they should seek NCAA approval to merge the divisions and still play a conference championship game between the top two teams.

Nope. The divisions were set and should remain the same, regardless of the arbitrary nature they were assembled in to begin with.

To do otherwise just makes the season a dog and pony show.

Most definitely a Leader, not unlike osu inc.

Which begs the question - who gets credit for the win in games played between the two schools in years where both had to forfeit all victories?
