I believe the school record is 9 MAC wins in a row from 1967-1969. Also again 9 MAC wins from 1959-1861

Win next week against Kent on Saturday would tie it.

A win Saturday would also give Ohio its first 2-0 start in the MAC since 2015.

Comparing streaks WMU during its Cotton Bowl run run 11 MAC regular season games in a row from 2015-2017. The most in the modern era is NIU who won 24 in a row from 2011-2015.

From 1959 to 1861. They had the DeLorean time vehicle from that 1980's movie?

Isn't 1861 the year that WT Sherman took a leave of absence from the U.S. Army to be our offensive coordinator during the war-shortened football season? Legend is that the ground and pound offense he developed that was so effective against Marietta College, the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers and Harvard College that year served him in good stead a few years later while marching through Georgia and the Carolinas.

Was this directed at me? If so, I have no idea what you are talking about. And, for the record, I'm not superstitious. I never knock on wood.

I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.
